-Thoracic and vascular surgeries

-Laser treatment of varicose veins

-Simple congenital cardiac surgery

• Total arterial bypass is a superior technique in bypass surgery which has a longer lifespan as compared to conventional bypass using the veins taken from the leg of the patient. It is only being done on a regular basis in a few centres in Delhi NCR. Worldwide, the proportion of patients undergoing this procedure is less than 10% of all bypass surgeries. Here at SAIH, we are doing this procedure in almost 40% of bypass patients with excellent results. Our surgical results are comparable to the best centres world wide, along with a high level of patient satisfaction.

• Dr. Kundu has also performed minimally invasive valve replacement surgeries using conventional instruments

• He is regularly performing all kinds of peripheral vascular and thoracic surgeries

• The CTVS department also has ECMO facility (both Venovenous as well as venoarterial), which is a lifesaving device used in cases of intractable cardiac or respiratory failure, not responding to standard therapy.
